Swansea City are close to completing the signing of Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston in a club-record deal.
The fee for the 23-year-old, who scored 18 La Liga goals on loan at Eibar last season, is understood to be £15m.
The Swans have already signed fellow Spaniard and World Cup winnerFernando Llorente from Sevilla as they look to replace West Ham-bound Andre Ayew.
"I think it is close. I think it is imminent," said Swansea head coach Francesco Guidolin.
"I was happy with the squad before but I am more happy now because, with Fernando Llorente and Borja Baston, I think we have signed two good players, two very important players."
Swansea's previous club-record fee was the £12m they paid Vitesse Arnhem for Wilfried Bony in 2013.
Borja is an Atletico youth product but has made only one senior league appearance for the club.
Swansea want striking reinforcements following the summer departures of forwards Alberto Paloschi, Eder, Bafetimbi Gomis and the impending exit of Ayew.
